They tend to eat a heavy lunch irrespective of having breakfast or not. A team of Australian researchers has published their findings. They say that people who tend to miss breakfast have consumed 260 calories less during the whole day. The study was conducted over one month, and people have lost approximately one pound in a month.

The idea of having a heavy breakfast sprouted from the fact that there was only the option of home-cooked food. Going to work or school meant that one had to have a full stomach until lunch. In the modern world, we can have healthy food at a café. We can order on apps, and a myriad of ready-made food is available in the market. So skipping breakfast and having a healthy meal with fewer calories is the order of the day.

However, people who eat regularly should not deviate from this habit unnecessarily because breakfast does have some benefits too. It helps with a concentration in children, adults who are on a controlled diet helps them to be more disciplined.
